Cover letter is extremely vital for a person who is looking out for a job. It is a cover letter that is going to sell you. A brilliant cover letter will enable you to find jobs with no trouble. So go ahead and read some of the tips to write a great cover letter
Tip 1- Do not begin the letter with the usual “hello” and “hi’ instead have a heading which is very attractive and will catch the employers attention. Say for instance the headline can be something like “Reason why I am applying for this job is …” These kinds of headers will be very catchy.

Tip 2 – the letter has to be drafted in present tense. Stay away from past and future tenses. The letter has to be Present Continuous. The tense in your letter will unquestionably have an influence on the person who is reading it. Take the paradigm of the books you have read in college and schools. One finds it very mind-numbing as they are not written in present tense.
Tip 3 – The letter has to be short yet sweet. The reader should have a glimpse of all the important things. No one will want to read a lengthy letter. Never beat around the bush be straight while drafting the letter.
Tip 4 – Always keep in mind that a cover letter is the one that is going to sell you. List down the genuine reasons as to why they should hire you. Also write about how your values and the company’s goals and values relate well.
Tip 5 – Avoid typing errors in the letter. More the errors more amateurish the letter is.
Tip 6 – See to that your cover letter is no run of the mill stuff. It has to be distinctive. For each company write a different letter. Do not use the same letter for all the companies. Each company should be sent a customized letter. Put some effort and know about the companies that you are applying for and write what you know about the company in their respective cover letters.
Tip 6 – Finally send the cover letter only to those companies which you feel has the capacity to hire you. And also send the letter to the person who will have the power to absorb you right away.
